By consuming any kind of poison, the chances of paralysis, peripheral nerve damage, loss of sensation, lever problems, blindness etc. are very positive.

“ Sometimes, due to the acid contained in poison, suicide survivor may lose their voice permanently, sleeping pills can impair one’s cognitive function. What happens when a suicide attempt fails? Perhaps an easy way out to escape from the bad phase of life turns out to be a living nightmare. In most cases the suicide survivor is found in coma and the family undergoes a huge financial burden. “Apart from the physical problems, mental stress of facing family and society after the suicide attempt is painful,” Dr. Vani Prabha, Psychologist at Victoria Hospital said.
